Hello, my name is

I'm a kick-ass user experience designer, blogger/photographer, and drinker of coffee.
This is my happy place.

In general terms, I make websites. I specialize in creating minimalist interfaces that adapt themselves to everything from desktops to mobile devices. If you want to get technical:
I don’t just make pretty graphics and call it a day. Long before I ever open an image editor, I work with my clients to help them define their goals for their website, what kind of content it will have, and how that content will be organized.
Through a process that involves information architecture, wire-framing, prototyping, and asking lots and lots of questions, I help my clients to create platforms for interaction between themselves and their clients.
After the planning’s done, I turn to my trusty text editor to convert great ideas into real products. To this end, I use HTML5 and CSS, with a strong focus on clean, semantic code and search engine optimization.
Additionally, I can design responsive websites (sites that adapt to the size of the screen with which they are being viewed), and also integrate them with content management systems (CMS), so that a website’s owner may easily update their site without the need for expert help.
Not everything I do is for clients. I make some things just for me. If you like web design, fantasy novels, or photography, then you might like what’s in this section.
This is my blog about web design and development.

This is a site dedicated to Fantasy in every format: literature, games, movies, the works! It will soon be home to the Fireball Show as well.

Photography is one of my more sporadic hobbies. I take pictures whenever I have both time, and a borrowed camera (I’m still saving up for my own Canon Digital Rebel...).
